How Tile calculators handles technical requests, calculator use, and messages sent to the published administrator address.
Scope
This policy describes the current public site at tilecalc.org and its calculator and guide pages. It does not promise that a hosting provider, email provider, browser, or third-party link follows the same practices.
Calculator use
Calculator inputs are sent to the site's own calculation endpoint when needed to produce a result. The Calculator Core documentation states that calculator inputs and telemetry are not sent to third-party analytics services. The site uses the request to evaluate the selected calculator and return the result, intermediate values, and formula details.
The calculator interface may use technical browser storage or cookies for operation and preferences. It does not require a public account to run a calculator. Do not enter personal information, confidential client data, or information you are not authorized to share.
Messages and contact
There is no public contact form on this site. Contact is by email to admin@tilecalc.org. If you send a message, the administrator receives the email address, message, attachments, and technical information included by your mail provider. It is used to answer the request, investigate a correction, or handle a rights or security report.
Operational records
The hosting environment and WordPress may record ordinary technical logs such as request time, requested URL, response status, IP address, user agent, and referrer. These records support security, troubleshooting, and service operation. Retention depends on the installed hosting and WordPress configuration; this page does not claim a retention period that has not been verified.
Optional calculator actions such as feedback or PDF-related processing may create records needed to complete or investigate that action. The fields, purpose, and retention for those actions are governed by the current Calculator Core and site settings. The site does not sell calculator inputs or use them for advertising profiles.
Third parties
Requests may pass through the site's hosting and mail-delivery providers. External links, manufacturer pages, standards organizations, and supplier sites have their own policies. No third-party advertising or analytics promise is made here beyond the current site configuration.
Your requests
You may email admin@tilecalc.org to ask about a message you sent, request correction or deletion where the site can identify the record, or ask a question about this policy. The administrator may need enough information to locate the request and may retain a limited record of how it was handled.
Children and location
Tile calculators is written for people planning or reviewing tile work. It is not directed at children. The site is operated for a US tile-planning audience; visitors elsewhere should consider the laws and data-transfer rules that apply to them.
Changes
This policy will be updated when the site's actual data practices change. The revision date below is the date of the current wording.
